A farewell?

Well… it seems like there’s nothing keeping me in this community any more, so I think I’m giving the blog up for good, now.

I still have questions in my inbox, so maybe one day.. when I get the spark back, I will answer them. But for now, don’t expect me to be very active [unless an event starts that I’m interested in.. then I might be a little more active]. I wish I could say that I’ve enjoyed the ride, but that would be a lie- certain things put me off for good, and actually made me regret starting this blog, just a little bit. I’m thankful for the improvement in my human art, though… so there’s a silver lining, atleast!

Besides, with the arrival of the ask blog “asksilenthill4”, it looks like my services are no longer required!

So TL;DR : I’m not gonna run this blog, but I’m NOT deleting it! I’m keeping it incase I ever get back into Silent Hill, and gain inspiration for answering questions! And who knows? Maybe I’ll doodle Richard out of boredom and use it to answer a question!

((Bug: I just had an idea for a collab amongst the SH ask blogs and i wanna know if anyone wants to participate.

Basically, you just draw whoever your ask-blog is dedicated to in an awesome pose or something, and then we organize the individual pictures into one big picture. It’d be kind of cool to see a mesh of styles for one awesome piece of art.

I’ll set up the event, but only if people are actually interested in the idea.))

Sad to see you leave as I just found your blog today and I kind of wanted to ask you something. Will you relinquish the URL to another…? About the url.. I’m not sure, really. If somebody really wanted it… Then yeah, I guess so. Funnily enough, I am debating whether or not I should open up my ask box for just a little bit longer. Good idea or no.. ?

More to the point, I’m really happy to know that someone got a good laugh out of it — That means I succeeded atleast somewhat with this blog! I didn’t think anyone would be interested, but that got proved wrong just a little, hah.

And I think I’ve come to the decision that I no longer want to run an ask blog.

Overall, in internet terms, I’ve been a bit agitated lately, on the edge… I really think I need to spend less time on here, and concentrate on other things instead. I think I have something in the very back of my mind that’s causing my troubles, but I have no clue what, as strange as it sounds.

Yes, it’s been great fun, but I just don’t think the motivation is there anymore. I’m thankful that it’s helped me improve greatly, and for some of the people I’ve met thanks to it.

I’m not gonna be gone until after the Valentine’s event, though! So the picture will still get done on time. I’ll see what I can do about answering the rest of my asks, too. But after that.. yeah, there’s a good chance I’m out.

So that’s the long and short of it — It’s nobody’s fault but mine, and well… It’s been a great run. I have all my followers to thank, for that. Thank you.
